What we can help with

• Corrections. Include the page and the figure. If the mistake is in FEMA’s source data we will say so.
• Coverage requests. Tell us which state you want next and we will move it up the queue.
• Data questions. How a figure was derived or what a field means. See about the data first — most answers are there.
• Reuse. The underlying FEMA data is a U.S. government work; a link back is appreciated but not required.

What we cannot help with

We cannot tell you whether a specific property has flooded, provide official or certified records, or give insurance, legal or real-estate advice. For a property’s flood history, ask the seller or owner for its NFIP loss history; for flood maps, use the FEMA Flood Map Service Center.

Response time

Usually a few days. Corrections are applied on the next data rebuild.
